What devices will allow me to access lectures?
Your lecture should be viewable on any device capable of internet streaming.
Are lectures solely intended for an American audience?
Not at all. The same issues are of concern in most other countries, and what constitutes optimal care in childbirth is the same the world over. Moreover, because much of the world’s research is published in English, the research literature analyzed and synthesized in the lectures has been conducted in many countries, not just the U.S. Perhaps the least applicable lecture will be the one on choosing a care provider because with the exception of Canada, the organization of the maternity care system in most countries differs considerably from that in the U.S.
Do you provide subtitles to lectures?
Yes, each slide is accompanied by the script for that slide.
Can I download lectures?
Unfortunately, no. CBU uses a special software that enables you to control the pace and order of the slide presentation. Lecture references and selected internet resources, however, are part of each lecture package and can be downloaded as a PDF.
What is your refund policy?
Because of the nature of our product, we don’t offer refunds. We encourage you to evaluate whether you want to make a purchase by reading the lecture description on the lecture product page. We also suggest that you sign up for CBU’s free introductory lecture, which will provide you a sample. If you’re still not sure, we recommend purchasing one lecture rather than an Annual Subscription. The purchase price can be applied should you wish to upgrade. (See next question.)
How do I upgrade to an annual subscription?
Contact us and let us know that you want to upgrade. Within 5 business days, we’ll send you a coupon in the amount you’ve already purchased that you can apply to the purchase of an Annual Subscription. Please be sure to include your full name and the email address you used during checkout / to create your customer account in the body of the email.
How do you calculate my year of access if I purchase an annual subscription?
Annual subscriptions, as do individual lecture purchases, start from the date that you first access a lecture.
If a lecture is updated during my year of access, will I be able to view the new version?
Yes. Just sign in as usual, and this will happen automatically.
How can I find out when new lectures are posted or updated?
Sign up for our mailing list. Your contact info will be used solely to let you know about CBU website updates and new CBU blog posts on “News from around the Web.” Be sure to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your email address book so e-newsletters don’t end up in your spam filter.
How do I get help with a technical problem accessing/viewing my lecture?
